My Trip to China

 

Most writers who return from Europe are thrilled with their experience and fill their photo essays with beautiful photographs and fascinating anecdotes revealing the subtleties and drama of an encounter with a deep culture. In contrast, the essays I found on China disappointed me with lackluster photographs and gripes about the rustic conditions the authors endured.

I did find that the beauty of China was somewhat cluttered by a profusion of litter, smog, and noise. Still, China was beautiful.

All the photographs were taken with a Leica 50mm f2 lens attached to a Leica M6 camera. All were taken on Fuji Provia RDPIII film pushed various amounts ranging from none to +2.
